Basic Bead Skills

Start your crafting journey with our Beaded Felt Scented Sachet/Air Freshener Class, a Level 1 workshop designed for anyone looking to learn some beginner beadworking skills, regardless of experience.

This 2-hour class introduces the picot edge beading technique, and will give you foundational knowledge in beadwork.

All materials are included, and by the end of the class, you’ll take home your very own handmade lavender filled sachet, perfect for freshening up your closet, dresser, or car.

In this class, you will learn:

• The basics of Native beadwork

• How to thread a beading needle

• The picot edge beading technique
  

• How to securely attach a ribbon to your work

By the end of this session, you’ll have completed a beaded lavender sachet and developed the confidence to explore more intricate craft projects on your own.

Included in this class:

Beads, Beading Needle, Thread, Felt Material, and Ribbon.
Participants will have the option to purchase additional beads in their preferred colors.
